Wildrose: The Party of Cut and Spend

For immediate release
June 30, 2017

EDMONTON – After a week calling for massive cuts and also millions in spending promises, they are forgetting to tell Albertans about how that plan adds up.

A quick recap:

Monday June 26 – called for more money for crown prosecutors and judicial appointments

Wednesday June 28 – called for millions of dollars in new road construction and maintenance

Thursday June 29 – called for $7 billion in cuts to public services in one year alone.

The Wildrose refuses to reveal their plan to cut $7 billion, but still tell Albertans they would spend millions more on other things – a number of which are already in Budget 2017.

It's time for Jean to tell Albertans what he'd really do if the Wildrose was in office.
