Let the Government Hear Your Voice

Let the committee that controls Private Members bills know that you want pensions to be debated in the Alberta Legislature!

Add your name here to protect the CPP and pensions.

This private members bill has been sent to a committee. This committee is considering if it should be debated in the legislature and has asked for written submissions from Albertans.

The UCP majority on this committee has NEVER let an opposition bill be debated in the Alberta Legislature.

Help pensions get the debate they deserve; the debate they didn't get when the Bill 22 pension changes were jammed through the Legislature in record time.

When you fill in the information below and click "Submit", an email will be sent to the committee with your name, email, and concerns about your pension. We will also copy the MLAs on the committee, the Finance Minister, and MLA Christina Gray so we can take your story into the committee meeting and the Alberta Legislature to fight on your behalf!

The next Committee meeting will be on Monday July 6th 8:30am – 12:00pm and will be streamed Live on MLA Gray’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ChristinaNDP/live/

To: Members of the Standing Committee on Private Bills and Private Members' Public Bills,

We the undersigned residents of Alberta call on you to support Bill 203 proceeding to the legislature. I support legislation that would:

• Legally prevent any move to withdraw Alberta from the CPP against the wishes of thousands of Albertans.

• Reverse the changes made to public sector pensions plans in Bill 22, giving back workers a say in their pension governance.
