David Shepherd, NDP Critic for Health, made the following statement:
“With COVID-19 case counts rising, Albertans deserve clear answers from the UCP government. We are a year into this pandemic and staring down a third wave, but there are still no clear answers from the government on what the plan is for schools, for restaurants, for small businesses and what would trigger the re-introduction of previous public health restrictions.
“Healthcare workers, families, small business owners and so many other Albertans are looking for leadership from the Premier and a clear indication of where case counts are going and how we will be asked to respond to them.”
